Hit an IRA
HOLE IN ONE
The IRA Charitable Rollover permits taxpayers
over age 70½ tomake non-taxable donations
directly to eligible charitable organizations
such as the foundations that support Cottage
Health’s hospitals. IRA rollover distributions are
counted for purposes of meetingminimum
distribution requirements but don’t count as
income to you.
The odds of hitting a hole-in-one on the golf
course are roughly 1 in 12,500, but the odds of
getting an IRA hole-in-one are greater.
With one stroke of the pen,
you have the
satisfaction of knowing that you can help
support quality healthcare in our community.
